Agilo Foundation, a nonprofit NGO Registered under Society Act 1860 with Govt. of NCT, Delhi. The society is also entitled to exemption from govt. taxes under 12A & 80G of Income Tax Act 1961. Agilo is also registered under NGO Darpan, NITI Aayog.
Road safety, a growing concern these days, It is estimated that every year around 1.3 million people are killed and around 50 million people are injured in road accidents worldwide. These injuries and deaths can be prevented with road safety measures and its efficient implication. Millions of lives can be saved with road safety measures.
AGILO Foundation organized a seminar on Road Safety Awareness on the occasion of International Youth Day. The youth plays the main role in changing the society, if the youth is guided well, it may bring tremendous changes in the society.
For précised guidance of the youth, Agilo Foundation invited Sh. Rajeev Kumar (ACP Delhi Cantt), Sh. Joginder Joon (SHO Palam Delhi Police) Meena Yadav Inspector, Palam(women cell), Delhi Police and other members of Palam Police Team.
During the seminar youth learnt many rules shared by the Delhi Police team, also the youth took a pledge to follow the road safety rules and regulations.
Agilo Foundation organized a Seminar on Road Safety Awareness on the occasion of Road Safety Week in association with Delhi Police. The motive of the seminar was to generate awareness of road safety measurements and traffic rules among the students. Students also pledged to follow the traffic rules.
Sub Inspector Mr. Manish and Constable Mr. Rajesh Kumar guided the youth about Road Safety and gave Information regarding Traffic Rules and Regulation.
Mr. Vijay Mudgal, Mr. Girish Bhardwaj and Mrs. Girish Choudhary represented Agilo Foundation and motivated the youth to follow the traffic rules.
Further Mr. Vijay Mudgal, President, Agilo Foundation delivered his speech on road safety and administered the youth an oath for following the traffic rules
